**Awards and reviews**
UNHCR will screen the BFC's most recent work Home Free (2009) in Geneva, Swizerland on December 11, 2008 at an international summit on refugees. The 22-minute documentary explores the three solutions now available to Burundian Refugees who have been living in Tanzania since 1972. Learn more.
Peralta Television in Oakland, California, will be playing all five of the BFC short films on December 24, 2008 and January 3, 2009. The college television station broadcasts to campuses all over the region with a mandate to show work outside the norms of mainstream television. Learn more.
The Burundi Film Center is working with Tiva.tv to produce a short video showing the effects of climate change on Burundian fisherman. Papy Jamaica Production Studios in Bujumbura is also a partner on the project. Learn more.
